Light sources define how objects are illuminated in your 3D scene. Each light type offers unique characteristics and behaviors, such as direction, intensity, and shadow support, allowing you to create realistic or stylized lighting effects.
Ambient – Provides even, non-directional lighting across all objects in the scene, does not cast shadows.
Directional – Simulates sunlight with parallel light rays, casts shadows, ideal for outdoor lighting.
Point – Emits light equally in all directions from a single point, supports range and decay, can cast shadows.
Spot – Emits a cone-shaped light beam, configurable angle and range, casts shadows, suitable for focused lighting.
Hemisphere – Emits light from two colors (sky and ground), does not cast shadows, perfect for soft ambient effects.
RectArea – Emits light from a rectangular surface, supports soft area lighting, ideal for simulating windows or panels.
Custom – Fully customizable by extending the base Light class, used for specialized lighting effects.
