The DataLayer Connector allows the user to pass data from the WordPress site directly to GTM DataLayer. it allows you to pass variables into a DataLayer you created using the Variables Section. so for example you can send and measure the number of items a user has in their cart or how far did they scroll the page upon an interaction. This feature will allow you to create complex DataLayers in minutes – based upon any user interaction.
The Variables Section allows you to catch any data you want Dynamically (Our special Dynamic Tags will come in handy here), and pass that data to any of the available Extensions: Zapier, Custom Webhooks, or DataLayers.
this feature is quite powerful and allows you to create and implement advanced measurements for analytics based on user interactions with ease.
